My DA Veilguard Hoodie arrived 🥲

veilguard is pretty great, actually; the combat is real good, I like a lot of the characters; it's obviously uneven but the comic book style is, even though it doesn't fully land, a fresh feeling take on thedas. I really am just flatly enjoying it, and wish it had the executive support it needed.

Ngl ... every time I play #DragonAge #TheVeilguard, I feel like I'm flipping off EA execs. And, I love that.

Replaying Dragon Age Origins after 14 years atm, and I realized that I’m too old for even looking at dialogue options like “I knew you were a whiny bi*ch” Like how old does your HoF have to be to pick that? Twelve? And some people complain about Veilguard not having such options ☠️

Did I just name the #DAO Mabari "Wyvern"? Yes I did! Few years later someone will tell Lucanis that HoF had a pet Wyvern and it will make his day!

Ok, seems like all I had to do was clicking “OK” we will see though 😂

I woke up at 5am so I decided to play #DragonAgeOrigins first time since Awakening was released, but… I can’t get past the “get DLC key” from steam prompt 😂 it’s too early for troubleshooting this, have mercy on me!

The BioWare “fans” who’ve done nothing but bash BioWare for the last decade right now:

How am I supposed to not replay #DATV again if he is looking at me like that? #LucanisDellamorte #DragonAge

Posting my beautiful power couple to cleanse the timeline a bit #DATV #Veilguard #VirtualPhotography #DragonAge

So… I guess the Harding and Neve statue is all we will get for Veilguard? RIP my dreams about Lucanis one 🥲

Unpopular opinion, but I think #DATV will still gain more praise in a couple of years when the dust settles. The game getting a release right at the finish line of a heated polarizing political campaign definitely didn’t help.

I spent more on #DATV oficial merch than I have ever spent on any other game, guess that was for nothing because only game sales matter 🤷‍♀️ Not to mention that I really don’t like to financially support companies that don’t give a damn about people dedicating half of their lives to them.

If you allow your studio to drag the development of a game on for a literal decade, you create a situation where anything short of a historic hit will be perceived as a failure. That failure belongs to the leadership that created those conditions, not the team forced to work in them.
