There was a solution. Obama brokered that with Iran.
Iran was allowed to create nuclear energy with the promise never to make a weapon. They were checked by the I.A.E.A. They've signed the treaty. It was Israel who pressured Trump to break the treaty, not Iran.

No. The majority is totally fine with the royal family. And that is mostly because they don't have any real power to begin with.
Their role is more social based. Opening doors for businesses in other countries, moral support during hardships. That sort of thing.
