1942. Guy Edwards, born #OTD in Macclesfield, had a modest F1 career, competing in 17 GP between, with a best result of 17th place. He is best remembered for his heroics during the 1976 German GP, where he was one of 3 drivers who pulled Niki Lauda from his burning car after a horrific crash. #f1
