I’ll never not be devastated that after nearly 250 years of democracy, this country chose fascist right-wing authoritarian dystopia instead of electing the highly competent, joyful woman who would’ve championed middle-class prosperity. 😢 She/her. No DMs.

It’s like she’s the spokesperson for a dimwitted 10-year-old bully who’s placating as a “tough guy” president.

Trump voters had some semi-plausible deniability pre-election—they could pick from his lies and claim to vote for him because of the economy. That pretense is long gone. The only thing he’s delivered on is racism and authoritarianism. If a person still supports him, it was never about the eggs.

On the plus side, I can’t wait to see how much less money I’ll be paying in federal taxes next year now that tens or hundreds of thousands will needlessly die! What’s that? I’ll actually be paying MORE??? I’d laugh but I think I’ll cry instead.

It’s tough to know whether impeachment or invoking the 25th amendment would be more appropriate. (But I shudder to think how much harm needs to be inflicted on their constituents before any Republicans would start to consider either.)

Yep. We took an unhinged malignant narcissist who always thought the world revolves around him, and put him in a position where the world actually revolves around his every stupid and/or malignant whim. Not a great idea.

This is the chaos you get when you take an unhinged malignant narcissist who always had delusions that the world revolves around him, and elevate him to a position in which the world DOES revolve around his every stupid and/or malignant whim. I’m so, so tired of this.

Google Weight Watchers recipe cards from 1974–that always makes me laugh.
