Listening to Green Day BBC Sessions (vinyl). Double album - a side per year - 1994, 1996, 1998, 2001. A few thoughts - BBC recordings are good quality, the album lives up to the high standard. The songs are good, short, and punchy. Seen them live - good apart from "I want you to" chant along rubbish

Listening to the first two albums by Teenage Fanclub. They weren't my cup of tea first time round, so I'd never listened to an album. I bought a set of the first 5 CDs for £15 - worth a listen at that price. I quite like the harmonies and swirling guitars on these.

Listening to a mix of YT music recommendedatuons based upon my previous listening. It's no surprise that Echo & the Bunnymen are on it - Lips like sugar - a great track from the 5th album. I always felt albums 1, 2 & 4 were my favourites, but Lips like sugar is up there with their best, IMO
