It's short-term gain for people who really could use the $5K (a lot of us do) and incalculable & in some cases irreplaceable long-term loss for our nation, in every aspect of our lives. How cynical and manipulative.

This $5K would come off the backs of hardworking Americans who lost their jobs and livelihoods because of musk.
It comes at the expense of research that helps address diseases and illnesses that cause the loss of loved ones and forces people into medical debt.
