Back by popular demand ... Hope it's not too early to gear up for the next Peepal Conclave 🐤 🐤

"Yes, lethality can be found in a rifle shot or a perfectly executed combined-arms maneuver. But at the strategic level, lethality also depends on the ability to secure populations, disrupt enemy networks, and build coalitions of trust." @markhertling.bsky.social: www.thebulwark.com/p/a-commande...

Cops tazed a Black man and they manhandled this guy at Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Town Hall in Cobb County, Georgia. Find these folks a good civil rights attorney and bury them in lawsuits. Unacceptable use of force and MAGA cheered. Vile.

Good on the Rifkinds; bad on Karp and those backing him. Here's the article: www.nytimes.com/2025/04/02/n...

🚨BREAKING: Federal court rules that the Pennsylvania date requirement for mail-in ballot violates the First and 14th Amendments. Counties cannot reject ballots from counting undated and wrongly dated mail-in ballots. A HUGE victory for my law firm, our clients DSCC and DCCC and the voters of PA!

THIS IS HUGE! Researchers at Scripps Research Institute have developed a groundbreaking UNIVERSAL coronavirus vaccine that triggers STONG immune responses AND shows promise in neutralizing MULTIPLE coronaviruses, including those responsible for causing COVID-19, MERS, AND even the “common cold.” 🧪🧵⬇️

Donald Trump cannot cancel the 2026 elections. But he can make it very difficult for them to be free and fair. His executive order is aimed at doing just that. Here is my promise: We are going to sue to stop him and we will win.

Good timing.

Just a reminder: having a functional moral compass right now is going to make you feel bad all the time; don’t mistakenly hate yourself for that.

This is how you respond to attacks on lawyers and the legal profession. Thank you, Center for Reproductive Rights & Nancy Northrup. (Abortion rights lawyers have known what it is like to be under attack for awhile, so not surprising they know what to do and say now.)

The reason Sanders and AOC can do this is pretty simple: Everything they say is a story, and in that story, there are good guys and bad guys. The good guys are the underdogs. They face seemingly insurmountable odds. And the bad guys are not just bad. They are evil. All that's left is the fight.

DOGE/SSA marked this person dead and *removed his savings from his bank account,* cancelled his social security and Medicare. #seattle https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/heres-a-dead-person-on-social-security-in-seattle-with-plenty-to-say/

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025. This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

JUST IN: The head of the US African Development Foundation is suing Peter Marocco and DOGE — and he is describing in detail the standoff in which he blocked DOGE from entering the agency's offices. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

We should all applaud Judge Ho’s appointment of former Bush SG Paul Clement to present a perspective distinct from those of the indicted NYC Mayor Eric Adams and the Trumpservient DOJ prosecutor Emil Bove. Well played! www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/n...

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

The lawsuit aims at the DOGE's foundations, seeking a ruling: * declaring its current operations, and Musk's, unconstitutional. * voiding their actions as illegal. * blocking them from operating "unless and until" appointed through the process the Constitution demands

Dems should propose a law that immediately requires every fed agency to post on @bsky.app account, every outlay with a detailed description, $, and a link to existing gov sites with in depth details Rather than trying to keep Elon out, pre-empt him so he cant miss characterize spending.
