This is what happens when you give lazy people those types of jobs. I watched it happen with the music industry. Execs kids were given A&R jobs, they’d ball out in the clubs every night and write it off as research. When it came time to sign acts they’d just grab whoever had the most followers.

IMO, people don't fully appreciate the extent to which financial 'markets' depend on trust in the stability of the state. The State can be understood as capital's backbone. This contextualizes attacks on regs that prevent bank runs, reduce predatory lending, or even attacks on treasury bonds.
