Well said SeΓ‘n. You're worth so much more than the time they waste.

Why is nobody talking about how they are on a 5 year mission? This seems fitting.

It's a hard transition at first, but ultimately it's worth it and you'll soon rebuild a solid following here.

He surrounded himself with fascist sycophants who are pulling an "Emperor's New Clothes" on him. They put up with his obvious derangement because he's giving them the world they want. He's the perfect stooge for the Nazi Revival movement they've been building up for decades.

Yup. I'm sure she'll be very thankful to whomever decides to try to impress her... As will the rest of the world.

Hey Mark, would you mind taking Skynet's digital dick outta your mouth and come back to your senses (if you ever had them)? Thanks.
Plagiarism is a crime, but we can't prosecute a computer. But WE CAN UNPLUG IT! AI is not the answer to our salvation, it's the antithesis of it! BAN IT!

It's ENTIRELY believable. Some of us have been screaming since the 00s that these people are Nazis, but we were dismissed for "hyperbole" and accused of "Godwin's Law".
But we knew. We paid attention to the policies and rhetoric. We recognized the strategies. It sucks being right sometimes.

Thanks. I'm just so tired of people who demand perfection (which doesn't exist) but won't lift a finger for progress. "This thing was made by a bigot!" Yeah that sucks, but there's no ethical consumption under capitalism. Unless you have an actual BETTER option, STFU and let me live.

I fought too long and hard to become my own person just to cave to someone else's opinion of what I should or shouldn't do. I'm not a blind follower. I read the facts, consider my own positions and values, and make the best decision based on the REALITY of the world, not the fantasy we wish for.

Bold of you to assume I give them any money. I disabled all of the monetization features in the browser. I don't use crypto, I opted out of the ads.
And yes, there might be alternatives but they're not good ones. I've tried them. DuckDuckGo shows promise but it's not quite there yet.

When a better, more ethical option comes along that provides equivalent or better results, features and privacy, then I'll happily switch. But for now, I don't have the luxury of sacrificing function for purity. After all, there's no ethical consumption under capitalism.

At the end of the day, Eich keeps his personal views out of his browser business, and his nose out of MY business. In a tech industry inundated with fascists, social purity is nigh impossible. I'll take the bigot that DOESN'T spy on me over the corrupt corporations that do. (3/4)

Most of the alternatives aren't great for privacy. DuckDuckGo isn't quite as good as I'd like it to be. The search results suck, and the browser still needs time to mature. The best search results still come from Google, but Brave is a close second, and its privacy is solid. (2/?)

In any other case, I might agree with you. I don't like Eich. I don't agree with him.
But his personal views don't factor into the Brave Browser's functionality. You may as well just stop using the Internet, because he invented JavaScript too. (1/?)

I've been using Brave Browser and Brave Search for over a year now. Yeah it has an AI too, but it can be disabled, and Brave, much like DuckDuckGo, is privacy-centric. I've also been using Proton for my email, VPN, cloud storage etc. I use Linux whenever I can but I can't fully escape Windows yet.

This is tone deaf on multiple levels. Not only is it not funny, but thanks for rubbing it in that you got a 5090. They're impossible to get now. My artwork often takes up so much of my VRAM that I have to sacrifice quality to get my card to render it. A 5090 would solve that, but they're all gone! π€¬

An escapee from one of the extreme religious cults gave an interview years ago warning that they were homeschooling their kids to train them for their "war". Infiltrating every level of government with the purpose of "taking back" America. Project 2025 was born out of those efforts.

Yes, in some places. But more importantly, because our founders played a little too fast and loose with the language of our First Amendment, this rot was allowed to fester for decades in the dark corners of our society. They planned this coup longer than most realize. 1/2

I've been openly trans for 10 years now, and I refuse to go quietly into the night. Support from folks such as yourself means the world to me, and gives me hope that we aren't in this fight alone. π³οΈββ§οΈππ»π«Άπ»

"I don't vote lesser evil" is how we got greater evil. The perfect is the enemy of the good. Perfection doesn't exist, and progress takes time. Imperfect Dems can be moved further left over time. Nazis cannot be moved left at all. Your mindset is complicit in every atrocity Trump commits. ππ»

I *LOVED* Skeleton Crew, and I liked The Acolyte, but I'm not blind to its numerous flaws. I also loved Obi-Wan Kenobi, and liked the Book of Boba Fett (but I'm not blind to BoBF's flaws either).
I also LOVED Ahsoka, and *ALL 3 SEASONS* of The Mandalorian (fight me you S3 haters!)

Stunning work as always. Also having seen the clothed version of the second one already, I still agree that was the right choice. Somehow the clothes make it more enticing.

Agreed. I normally pride myself on valuing all human life... But Trump and those pulling his strings and those enabling him are all sub-human trash at BEST. They are a disease; a fetid rot festering in our society, and they deserve nothing less than extermination.
