To clarify since I just learned conservatives use similar argument... My reasoning is that the capitalist hellscape that the US is and was for decades now is one of the last countries that should impose its way of being onto the world.

High time for US to stop being the world's cop, no single country should ever be. It's a shame Ukraine will no longer receive aid from US, but thankfully the states aren't her only allies.
