did Frum talk about Trump here?

He took some shots at Juventus too...

Some of those emails and texts might be better depending on what I say tonight. /s/ Stan Van Jeremy

is that the meltdown now? I thought it was more like "it's unfair in a cap sport that their players play home games in a state with no income tax"

Is Wayne known to like the liquor? The Rangers show I follow once had the great fortune to interview him (they originally went for Shanny), and the hosts thought he had some adult beverages before coming on.

well, sure, Wayne, but it doesn't always work out. He might be right insofar as don't keeop trying for the EN goal

I imagine you might feel similarly about the Anaheim Ducks now...

I remember texting someone that it was harsh when they first implemented the penalty (after the season-long lockout). I suppose it's been here long enough that players should have adjusted.

not that shocking.

were they talking about Stan Bowman?

any "conflict" between Musk and those Trump admin ppl that want to spend more could well be political theatrics
comment in response to post
It's something to talk and "debate" about, I guess. I mean even back in the day there was that SI cover of "The NHL is Hot and the NBA is Not."

I thought you were a Flames fan-- aren't you guys supposed to root against the Oilers?
comment in response to post
This tour was probably confirmed weeks or months in advance. It’s not the best “optics” after the season they did have.

Ok. “Only” 13-16 years ago

Rick Nash (we needed him to score though) Might have to go back to the Mac-Girardi-Staal and Torts era

does he want to contribute?

as I think about it, I'm not even sure Hogg is all that progressive, though he is obviously younger. I'm independent, too, though I lean left (depending on the issue). I think Dems are trying to find someone who will appeal to more ppl.
comment in response to post
What did Hogg say or do now? I think some Dems feel they need younger more progressive voices
comment in response to post
It might be in Grok and Elon's best interest to appear to not be biased against the left
comment in response to post
Are you pulling for the Oilers in this series?
comment in response to post
We shall see. I root primarily for Juve... they need to rebuild too. They overall are in better shape than United (maybe not by much but their goalie is better). United plays in a tougher league. I'll still follow United... though I might also root for a lower half team... oh wait
comment in response to post
Hate to say it but if they play like they did this season, relegation might not be out of the question.

Is there any chance Amorim gets sacked if MUFC loses today? I would think not but...

Boone’s feel for when to pull a pitcher — or lack of feel — has always been a weakness

This was very interesting. I often look for older SI articles that pop to memory, especially from the late 80s-early 90s. The SI Vault is not very helpful any more, though occasionally I do find the article or column that I am looking for. (I do a lot of researching -- not for work).

Someone (aka Boone and Cashman) still trust him

the guys on 32 Thoughts think that once the Leafs playoff run is over, we'll find out he had some injury that made him unable to shoot.
comment in response to post
as a fan or as a reporter?

It might help if he did not keep missing the net.

You guys (not nec. the Leafs) just have to win one and this stuff will be over. Are Leafs fans blaming their American captain?

Are there more corruption/scandals with one party than the other?
