Like, Engels don’t conclude his thoughts by going ā€œtherefore, let’s bring back feudalism and kingsā€, but also warned against this kind of movement. But I’m literally trying to process what I read very recently replying to random comments here, I’m still quite ignorant overall around communist theory

Good call out. I understood the point being made was that being a proletarian can somehow be even worse than being under a feudal lord in certain circumstances, but also got a very clear message that there’s absolutely no point on trying to go back in time

I saw it had mixed reviews on steam due to crashes. I played the Switch version personally, so would vouch for that one if you can get it

In feudalism you would own what you produced in your lords land and give them a part of it. In capitalism they pay you shit wages and keep everything you produce. Or so says that dude Engels

There's a lot about 3 that I like more as well, but World is like a place I would hang out in for years. "I'm gonna stop by that one stage to pick up a feather" or "let me get a blue yoshi and go see what is up there". You can chill with it, but it's also full of challenges and secrets, amazing game

Just like my own code, be it manually mashed up together from copy-paste or occasionally preciously written, I have next to zero trust in it. If I can't it working and see it failing, I have to assume I don't know

It has no opinions! It's just an internet mashup machine, which is how I personally have been writing my bulk bullshit code most of my life anyways. It's just faster than we wading through dubious SO replies (or 20 year old forums depending on tech) so the iteration is faster

Definitely! She loves them so much, but we walk by them way too often. They make special editions for holidays, then we usually get a box to share. I also learned recently that their bread is quite good! Saw someone buying the other day and got curious to try

I’m sure it would jump straight to the ending credits if I’d set one foot outside with it over here

Most of my life I’d just call them ā€œSNES gamesā€, ā€œMega Drive gamesā€, etc. Atari games were just old. Curious to know when ā€œretroā€ came into heavy usage for video games. For me personally I probably saw it first associated with RetroArch, which I was going to call ā€œrecentā€, but it came out in 2010…
