I mean, I seem to now be unemployable for what I've spent the last twenty years doing, so why the hell not? I would have to scrub A LOT of my social media, though.

It seemed like yes, they wanted me to say I was completely unorganized and therefore it was fine to just ask me to do any old thing away from my desk.

How are you supposed to answer when the answer they want is "You can come fuck up my schedule at any time and throw my entire day off track, it's fine"? Employers these days are INSANE.

Turns out this wasn't what he wanted to hear, because "this job is crazy and we could pull you away from your desk at any time to do other stuff." WOW. OKAY.

I live in Shreveport now and that's how the parades up here are normally. No marching bands, no dancing/walking groups. Just floats, and half of them are sponsored by businesses, which is a no-no in New Orleans. It's laughable, really.

I hated that day in school. I never got a rose. Not once.

You are lucky to live in a place where "neighborhood bar" is a thing. I have moved to a place where it is not. Now I must drive to a bar that is 5 miles away. It is barbaric.
