And those counts are preliminary as we still have a final quality control inspection round to go.

So we're actually adding a few hundred galaxies over DR3, which is nice. We're continuing to observe at GBT, mostly to go deeper on non-detections for better statistics.

Preliminary count is that we now have GBT data for 3946 unique MaNGA galaxies, and adding in ALFALFA and other large survey data (mostly ALFALFA) we get to 7013 unique MaNGA galaxies with 21cm-line HI measurements. 🔭👩🔬

It's only about 100 more observations over our DR3.1, but will be more carefully vetted and versioned as a release, and will include spectra not just an updated catalogue.

Luckily I'm not related to this person, so I can avoid them pretty well. It's good advice. I'm sorry it's your family though. That's sad.

Yeah. I didn’t leave because of the situation but an excellent opportunity arose AND I wasn’t much enthused to stay and have to keep “walking the tightrope”.

Also interesting to use Carta (carta.readthedocs.io/en/4.0/) in cloud computing service from Canadian Network for Astronomical Research (www.canfar.net/en/). I'm appreciating the distributed international team putting this all together!

Is something going wrong with education somehow? Or socialisation..... seems to be a problem worldwide, not limited to the US, given the rise of selfish hateful viewpoints across Europe also....
