Yes, it was a knit along. But I only managed one full sock before Christmas day. Vanilla socks in Christmas themed yarn are definitely more achievable. 😀

I use dpns and knit a few extra stitches from the next needle each time so that the needle join floats move all the time. I knit with both yarns on the left and knit continental. This has loosened my tension a bit, but evened it up. It's this pattern. ravel.me/step-into-ch...

So I don't think I have an inner voice. But I can certainly not notice conversation, including my name, when I'm reading or doing Maths without the need for headphones to block out the sound.

There's a GCSE Stats question on one of the Spec papers about a ripped piece of paper with a partial histogram. One of my students annotated it "He should just print a new copy". 🤣

I use fabric stiffener on all my thread snowflakes. First year I used starch, but those have needed redoing after a year. I've used the brand HI TACK for a decade now. One bottle lasts me about that long. Just starting my second bottle.
