Not the temple itself, but the “maze” leading up to the Forest Temple was so daunting and mysterious to freshman me back in the day.

I lost my aunt to pancreatic cancer last year. Trump Jr (and the rest of the family, let’s be honest) can fuck all the way off

Super Mario RPG is a fun way to spend 10 or so hours.

I think Steam got me accustomed to buying digital games on my consoles. There are still games that I’ll try to get physically, most recent being the Super Mario RPG remake.

I never had the good fortune to have played Earthbound back in the day, but I definitely remember seeing this guide floating around.

I thought this was a funky screaming raven at first.

My favorite strategy guide was Nintendo Power’s guide for Ocarina of Time, where the tips were delivered in a narrative format. “Link looked around the room and found a sigil of an open eye. When he hit it with the slingshot, the door magically opened!”

It overachieved so much that when I played it on GC back in the day, I literally thought my game was buggy. I didn’t realize that it was SUPPOSED to mess with your head until years later.

Cierzo is the place I call Home in Outward. (Even though you have to buy your house back at the beginning of the game)

I think you’re right about the running animations, but I never actually thought to test it. I do know for a fact that Kimberly’s weapon has the best reach, so she was essential for the hotel level.

When I see these comics, it only serves to reinforce my theory that Ernie Bushmiller is a god tier shitposter. He never misses.

Hear me out. Final Fantasy 7 is my Best of All Time. It showed me that heroes don’t always win, actions have consequences, and regardless of who you are, goodness is always a choice. My Favorite game is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on the SNES. The music slaps, and I always come back to it.

I’m nationalistic in an ironic sense, where I make jokes about measuring things in “hamburgers per eagle” and making fun of the French.

You’re telling me the mod team are like that guy on TikTok? “I got them in my sights, sir. Should I take the shot?”

The best part is playing a game you slept on for years (or decades) and ending up loving it

My nephew asking me why I keep blowing on my DS while playing Fossil Fighters. It’s to blow away the dust, idiot.
