This is the predictable result of people thinking that immigrants have no access to law enforcement or justice. I’m glad that the GOP is the party of Jesus. In the sense that when I see them turn a blind eye to the obvious results of their policies I say “Jesus, what is wrong with them!”

I think we are so poisoned by Congress and the filibuster that we think all laws and regulations are permanent. We can just try something, and if people are harmed we can adjust the policy. The idea that bad policy will live forever is ruining a lot and discouraging us from trying new things.
