I, for one, am looking forward to the Fall impeachment party. I figure that one summer of empty shelves, vertical inflation and massive unemployment will be enough for the American people to finally send this POS packing. Too bad that we will be so broken by then, it will take decades to repair

I mean, it’s not like the Constitution has an army. Who’s going to stop him?

He’s counting on there being a mass uprising against him by that time so he can say there is a national emergency, declare martial law and “postpone” the election indefinitely. Save this

This was really disturbing on multiple levels. The AG of the United States is threatening a sitting member of Congress if she continues to exercise her 1st amendment rights to criticize a non-elected public official. She is intimating that she is willing to file charges against Crockett. WTAF

I am now pinning my hopes on California succeeding, or becoming part of Canada. I think Canada would love to have someplace warm to call their own.

Whose going to enforce the law? Federal crimes are prosecuted by the justice department. His justice department. They are currently occupied with indicting federal employees who disagree with Orange Jeebus

Please fix the news feed. It’s useless right now. Foreign news dominates, sometimes in foreign languages. I’m forced to return to X to see what is going on!

I’m not sure what part about “we were f$&ked” after November 6 people didn’t get. This is not a democracy any longer. Get use to it. And it isn’t going away in 2 or 4 years either

He waited until after the markets closed on Friday to do this, so that he has two days of propaganda to push before the shit hits the fan on Monday

It also diverts resources away from investigating the actual cause of the crash and focuses attention on chasing phantoms and reenforcing racist tropes.

Who would have thought that firing all federal employees with decades of experience and replacing them with thin air would have any consequences?

Sure. Sounds like a plan, putting the wolf in charge of the baby

Nothing like a good o’l fashioned political witch hunt of our own military leaders to prove to our advisories how weak we are.

The Nazi’s tried to reframe their war crimes and invasion of Europe as great victories and benign actions, rather than the atrocities they were. It didn’t work for them and it won’t work now.

This is what dictators do. No surprises. Take heart, though. The truth and history are slippery things. They manage to survive despite the best efforts of humans.

Translation: He just wants to break things so those in government need to smile to his face and take his hammer away when he’s not looking. That is a lot to ask, especially when people’s livelihoods, careers and reputations are literally on the line. 72% of the voting public wanted this. FAFO

Looked like Trump was confronting Newsom about something and Newsom pushed right back. I, for one, am tired of DT bashing Ca every chance he gets, but especially when we need reassurance from the gov, not petty politics. He took 3 days to acknowledge the NorCal fires in ‘17 & never showed his face.

I started to wonder whether I made the right choice voting for him when had to take 3 months off right after the election. Then he started showing up on Capitol hill looking like a slob. The last straw was when he backed anything Israel did 100% and said ugly, unforgivable things. He needs to go.

He doesn’t know hardship, illness or tragedy. One day, someone he loves will get sick or die and all his money will mean nothing. When it is his turn, he’ll know fear for the first time in his life, the fear that comes from being utterly alone while the eternal footman holds his coat and sniggers.
