I saw my first bumblebee of the year today on a clump of crocuses - here it is heading to the next flower, so laden with pollen I’m surprised it could take off 😊🐝💚 #smallbeautieshour

Desperate doesn't even begin to cover their current situation. Please, I'm begging you, help Meesh and her team at @baliaid.bsky.social continue their wonderful work by donating at paypal.com/paypalme/lovin… or lovinaanimalwelfare.org and please share this. Thank you ❤️

A very generous giveaway to brighten these dark days. Anne Louise Avery’s writing is truly wonderful 💚

This petition to stop Musk pouring his cash into UK politics is currently the most popular on the parliamentary petitions site It’s leapt from under 30k signatures yesterday evening to nearly 40k now You know what to do: keep signing & sharing! bsky.app/profile/guys...

With everything so seemingly terrible these days & no sign of anything remotely hopeful in the near future, I thought you might need this photo of a baby giraffe.

Trying to make myself known to more of the people on this who once followed me on X. 😄 Reposts appreciated! #arealmofwonder #cianmccarthy

Please help me! I’m on X because that’s where my paintings sell. I shift about 95% of my work there. If I could just get my followers up to the same level here, it would release me from the swamp. I live in the middle of nowhere so I rely on social media to share & show my work.

My Etsy shop will close in 2 hrs’ time. Last chance to bagsy one of my botanical things, many of which shift your brain biochemistry for the better. Would be smashing if you could RT if you get a moment. Thankyou 🌿x

"It's the great mystery of human life that old grief passes gradually into quiet tender joy. The mild serenity of age takes the place of the riotous blood of youth." ~ Fyodor Dostoevsky A Village Street in Winter 🎨 Alfred Sisley (1893)

Wow, what a bird 💚

December. Lights, fires & candles against the dark. Indulgent food, whatever you celebrate & enjoy. Citrus fruit & mangoes add golden notes, pomegranates bring rubies. Comforting potatoes in all their forms. Dark greens add minerals, carrots & parsnips bring sweet notes. Be merry!

It would be so great if you could RT my Etsy shop in the twoots below/above. My🌲 jewellery orders usually make up a significant part of my income at this time of yr but the X exodus has meant I’ve only received 1 order-pretty scary income-wise. A small boost would help so much. Thankyou🌿

I know it's a little early for an advert on here but this evening I'll be opening my Etsy shop (silverpebble) to take orders for🌲. I cast real flowers & nature finds in recycled silver & make tiny wearable versions of much-loved bird species. I'll link to my shop this evening...I ship anywhere🌿

Once there was a Tabby Cat who ran a bookshop by Canterbury Cathedral. It was a marvellous place, with treasures on every shelf & free buttered toast & hot tea for all who visited. At Christmas, it glittered with lights & its window was a wonder of the city.
