My late grandparents used to send us a check every year for Valentine's day. In the card, they would say it was so we could buy a "heart-shaped pizza". So that's what we did. We still get one every year, in their honor. It's my favorite pizza of he year.

Advice of the day: Make sure you and your partner are aligned on the importance (or lack thereof) of Valentine's Day. If you care a lot about it, make sure you are with someone that agrees on it's importance. Resentment about this kind of stuff can fester!

Why am I completely unable to not overpack? 7 nights does not require 14 outfits and 20 pairs of underwear, but here we are, shoving all of that into my suitcase. Along with 5 pairs of shoes and a jacket even though it’s going to be 75 degrees. I’m a mess.
