Let me see if I understand this. Women and physicians can be prosecuted in Texas for abortions, but letting a child die from a vaccine-preventable disease is fine. Did I get it right?

Good on the Governor who says "see you in court". Good on the prosecutors who refused to be nobbled. Good on the judge who appoints an independent lawyer to do what nobbled prosecutors refuse to do. Good on all those taking constitutionalism seriously, when the president and his cronies do not.
