You can find the statement from the social ministry here www.sm.dk/nyheder/nyhe... It’s in Danish. The use of the tests were put on hold in November last year, and the DK and GL governments are working on a new approach.

The tests have been altered, in collaboration between the Danish government and Naalakkersuisut. The tests are there for a reason and used on all, not just Greenlandic parents. But the weren’t adjusted to Greenlandic culture which is a huge problem.

We have a oak in Denmark, called the Kingsoak, that’s estimated to be around 1500-2000 years old ✨ da.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kongeegen

And no the children’s homes are of course not closed - there are many children who for some reason or other need to live somewhere else. There are currently 22 children’s homes in Greenland for children none disability issues, managed by the home rule.

It was literally decided yesterday to stop using the test: www.dr.dk/nyheder/poli... Remember, these tests were used on both Danish and Greenlandic parents. They did not target Greenlandic parents specifically but they weren’t amended to reflect the cultural differences (which clearly was wrong)

No. As a matter of fact is has just been abolished. The FKU tests were aimed used on both Danish and Greenlandic citizens if there was cause to concern or the parents could look after the child. The test did not take into account cultural differences and it is beyond amazing that they have stopped

No, it belongs to the Greenlandic people.
