I might frame it as experienced stressful events that they reexperience through nightmares/flashbacks, led them to avoid certain situations that remind them of the stressful events, and/or startle easily, left them feeling hyperattentive to situations/people that remind them of the stressful event

This is a very good question and after looking at Reddit for answers, there are many schools of thought ranging from Austin Powers to if you really think about it, technically certain techniques can be called chops. I’ll keep looking
