Forget the image - my bramble overgrown hedge - but listen to the blackbird-song. Beautiful. #signsofspring

@keirachapman.bsky.social @marlinholster.bsky.social This is such an interesting and uplifting 30 minutes. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

@marlinhoister.bsky.social Happy Christmas! I’ve been a bit quiet on social media of late. Enjoy the rest of the 12 days.

@kierachapman.bsky.social I hope you had a lovely Christmas Day. Enjoy the rest of the winter festival! X

Sunset

I know this is a very small step but I am 10 days post op from a knee replacement and baked this lovely apple cake this morning! Believe me, standing and walking whilst measuring and mixing us harder than it appears.

Autumn

@marlinhoister.bsky.social I hope you’re okay. I’m trying to avoid TwitteX. But getting more used to here. I’m having my knee op on Tuesday. No time to worry, it was confirmed on Thursday. I’ll have a lot of time to stare at my phone.

OK, I'm new here, just working out what's what. So this is my first, er, post? Is that the right word? And here is a photo of the lovely Lady Skye, just because...

Just picked today - tomatoes are coming daily.

I gave T germ too successful growing rises but these are looking ok.

A muddy but lovely walk in the woods today.

The pigeons love these winter ivy berries.

My all time favourite poem is Keats’ Eve of St Agnes which is Jan 20th. Today feels like it! St. Agnes' Eve—Ah, bitter chill it was! The owl, for all his feathers, was a-cold; The hare limp'd trembling through the frozen grass, And silent was the flock in woolly fold: Painting by Millais
