Also, as a parent, I feel that communication with school is too one-sided. We are bombarded with information and instructions, but when you try to give them information, it gets lost and isn't acted on. We need better liaison between school and home, not just through individual teachers.

I suspect a strong correlation of worsening behaviour with the reduction in funding for youth groups and clubs. So many clubs outside of school are expensive and at difficult times for working and single parents, and aren't inclusive enough. There's not much for teens at all.

Your response is a little un-Bluesky like, but reading between the lines, I think there are better policy options to support British farms today than a tax loophole which only benefits the wealthiest, and only at the point of inheritance.
