So true! I’m powder puff white & got a bad sunburn yesterday but made sure to be there. Went to Santa Monica first for a few hours then to DTLA for a few hours. My demographic REALLY needs to show up.

I heard from others who tried to leave & were blocked, LAPD blocked & shut down Union Station & Little Tokyo station. Fortunately I had a car but the closer to 5 pm it got, & helicopters circling above, they would instigate their violence. This helicopter hovered over us.

As a former server, I can attest we used “86” to mean we were out of something. 87 meant we had 1 left. Terms were used all the time in the kitchen.
