So, these pictures are of a doll someone made. There isn't a lot of reputable sources about marble foxes, but what I can find indicates that if they are real they have the genetics of a red fox just selectively bred by humans.

I had to work. But after that my bestie and I went to Barnes and Noble and I bought some fancy notebooks and she bought a few books from her TBR.

Same! And it's the only store in the area that sells fabric! I cannot afford to get all of my fabric shipped to me from out of state! What am I supposed to do?! π

I am rereading LOTR Two Towers by Tolkien, because it gives me hope. And I just finished reading "On Tyranny Graphic Edition: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century" by Timothy Snyder

This post made me realize just how often our party prioritizes getting clean. X steps in mud? She makes a point to clean it off. Everyone gets covered in blood? Hey E can you use Prestidigitation to clean this off? Bath house episode? Hell yeah! We even taught our druid how to use soap π€£

Most of my projects are packed away due to a pipe burst in my house a couple of weeks ago. But I did keep out my mini painting kit. This is Peaches, she is a 10 year old barbarian NPC in the game I GM

I really enjoy what you have to say. I'm hoping you have less horrible men in the comments here so that I we can engage with your thoughts without joining the fight against a tidal wave of incels

I'm so sorry they said that to you. Sitting with grief and just allowing ourselves to be sad is important. Consider this me just sitting in the quiet with you. Feel what you need to feel. Sit for as long as you need to sit. The time for joy is later. For now we weep.

Exactly, people only care because he's a rich white man. Forgive me if I don't cry when a single member of the bourgeoisie is killed for his lust. I used up all my tears for the children who have died in the last 8, 9, 10 mass shootings that have happened in this country alone.

I'm not celebrating, I'm watching with a cold philosophical disposition. And engaging in dark humor/ hope for change that looks like celebrating. It's not, it's numbness waiting for a glimmer of hope. 2/2

Yes Ma'am! I wear one every day, anytime I'm indoors somewhere that's not my home. (And outdoors too if it's packed with people) Here's one of me in my clients house with their new puppy.

Alas no, we cannot use the ruling ring. It belongs to Sauron and was made by him alone, and is all together evil. It's strength, Josh, is too great for anyone to weld at will, save only for those who already have great power of their own. But for them it holds an even deadlier peril!

I once alpha read a book where I guy picked up a kid and was like "she was heavy but no heavier than his sword so it was ok." And I was like. Boo... 3-5 lbs max. It's a simple Google search boo. But also why would you assume a Cutlass is 80 lbs?! (It was a pirate book)

Each morning I keep a routine designed to make sure I remain steeped in goodness.
I drink tea. (I tried to come up with a better pun but I haven't had my tea yet)

I got a 13 plus my modifier. Which considering history is my special interest is probably a +5 which would be an 18. Is that high enough?

Ugh I feel this. The mission they are on right now is just not working. I think I'm just going to let them take the lead for this next part and see what happens.

When I am super overstimulated and feel like I'm going to shut down or spiral I use this. And you can change it up as needed. Sometimes there is nothing to taste. Sometimes I do 4 things I can hear and 3 things I can feel. But regardless, it helps me refocus and tune out the worst of triggers.

I find the 5 senses grounding exercise helps with this. Specifically picking out individual sounds can help mentally refocus from the horrid sound to something else. That said sometimes things are just too much and covering your ears or removing yourself from the situation is the best solution.
