Oh I know. Unfortunately it’d would also require the cooperation of the provincial professional regulatory bodies and they are not famously cooperative. I could also see any move like that making UK, Aus, NZ very angry if we gave special consideration to US, so would cause lots of problems.

Doesn’t address the underlying major issues of insufficient staff or ED boarding. The patients whose LOS could be significantly shortened by a PIT aren’t the ones who get stuck in the ED for days…

My understanding is that vinegar cuts the sweetness so it’s not cloying which enhances the overall flavour. I add it to my plum pudding sauce for a similar reason. Can use lemon juice for that too.

It’s certainly making me nervous about how interconnected our health system here in Canada is with that of the US. Obviously we have rigorous regulatory oversight of our own, but I wonder if we’ll even be able to trust research coming out of the US (…if there is any. :-/)

Depends who you ask. I have often (usually) disagrees with his positions. I’ve been in the legislature arguing with him directly. But he has made some good decisions along the way, and advocated for the interests of Islanders (to varying degrees) on the national stage, so I’ll give him that.

I interpret it as intellectual dishonesty. Not the fact that he changed his mind about something, but the fact that he attempts to use his children being vaccinated as a ‘shield’ against being labelled anti-vaccine.

For fun I actually played around with an LLM and some legal principles. I’m no lawyer, but I have a basic grasp of some areas of law. Not only was almost everything it said at least partially wrong, all the cases were made up. Going to be a while before I trust these tools to help with research…
