in my head he's trying very hard to adapt and make sacrifices, even tho a lot of it is invisible on the outside, because that has been my experience. and he's also unlearning stuff he was raised with, which can also look like no effort. both things i'm reading into it that aren't rly explicit

ohhh, interesting. i have not seen arcane so i dont know the comparison but i think for me, the autism layer adds a whole lot of things stolas has had to learn, that he's tried to adjust for blitz, and that evens the field a little bit, altho i admit that is 100% headcanon and not in the text
