Our leaders have failed Stephanie Horowitz and other Parkland survivors by making them endure the unthinkable not once, but twice. There are no words, only actions. #FSU #FloridaState #Parkland #Enough

It's genuinely hard to express to sort of normal not politically plugged in non-lawyers *how* lawless the Trump administration is, and I think that's some part of the problem. You sound like you're hyperventilating, but it's just a flat description of what is going on.

Once again sharing this info. Please share with your friends and loved ones in the National Guard or active duty military.

"To put things into perspective: I had a Canadian passport, lawyers, resources, media attention, friends, family and even politicians advocating for me. Yet, I was still detained for nearly two weeks. Imagine what this system is like for every other person in there."

Why is Trump waging a war on the Department of Education? Because he knows that his biggest enemies are educators and younger generations of learners who are unafraid to speak truth to power. Attacks on education are central to the fascist playbook.

I don't know who this guy is but he's absolute right.

An objectively accurate description would be they are "stealing money," or if you want to be a bit drier, "illegally impounding funds," but "spending cuts" is not what's happening because Trump/Musk have no authority to "cut" appropriations as in the same term we'd use to speak of Congress doing it.

Schoolhouse Rock was my first exposure to the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution, how about you guys? youtu.be/RKldTIZGSM8... Shout out to @hcrichardson.bsky.social for reviewing it during yesterday's Politics Chat. It's been sticking with me today.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public. He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit. Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record. They run them bc people react to them the most. If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change. It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

We're enjoying our backyard camera feeder...a little oasis in a troubled world. Maybe these guys deserve their own account. 🐦
