The complaint was filed on a Friday in California. The NYT already had the story written and published by Saturday and updated it on Sunday. They claimed to have gone through thousands of documents that were not in the complaint.
Metadata shows story photos uploaded on 12/18. They gave it to NYT.

Also, she is the one who gave the story to the NYT. They certainly didn’t get it from the complaint. A bit tricky to argue for a gag order now. Not unheard of, but tricky.
