See, the thing is, these people think that everyone who counts already agrees with them. So when they say, "I'm going to make the lying machine tell the lies I want to hear," they think everyone is cheering them on.

According to that article, Tony Hawk himself says he wanted to mix some new tracks in with the old, and cut out some of the old tracks.
There's no direct mention of licensing cost or issues.

Here's some random bullshit I have on my phone. Feel free to use any of it for whatever. And also feel free to stop acting like a victim.

You don't even need an artist. Just take a fucking picture with your phone. That's what I've done. Stop blaming your use of plagiarism machines on your inability to put in two goddamn seconds of work.

Well, convincing mayors to ignore corpo $$ is hard, but fire is something just about anyone can do. Hell, fire is something that can happen by accident. Can't change city policy by accident, no way no how.

Do not engage the trolls. Report, block, move on. No need to give them a chance to respond.

Like, no one's immune to propaganda, yadda yadda. But I'm pretty inoculated against at least this bullshit.

I dunno about anyone else, but it's been pretty bitterly vindicating of my own journey of personal growth to be utterly repulsed by everything that my would-be fascist overlords are selling.

So, if I'm interpreting this correctly, if I hit the Sentinel with a melee weapon four times after it begins healing, it has a 100% chance to interrupt the timer being set?

I'm going to stop you right there. Don't even use that shit as a bit. Hell, I'm disappointed in myself for saying its name, even in a quote.
Drop that shit like a hot rock. Let the plagiarism machines wither and die.

I have discovered the glory that are overalls in recent days. To think I tolerated doing all this yardwork in mere pants. Utter folly.

I got my taxes started, done, and went for a bike ride.

Oh, you can get character edit vouchers real easy. Just pay Capcom more $$ for the privilege of editing your character without losing your progress. *old man grumbles*

It doesn't happen often, but I will sometimes find a song I haven't listened to much or at all before, and absolutely need to listen to exclusively that song on repeat for a week.

There was an XKCD about a similar idea, although I think it was the entire world's population into Rhode Island. And yes, the conclusion was that it would be a death even of unprecedented scale.

I feel part of the appeal of Stellar Blade is explicitly the complete lack of agency or definition of the protagonist. 2B is a tool struggling to become a person, who happens to be very sexy. Eve is a barbie doll boys can dress in skimpy outfits.

I find this argument uncompelling because we already have precedents against certain kinds of speech. Speaking in such a way as causes an immediate threat is not considered protected speech. And if throwing a Nazi salute on a national stage isn't an immediate threat, I dunno what is.

Had a Rep campaign ad come in the mail that was all, "This Democrat wants to stop offshore oil drilling and put up more wind farms ☹️☹️ !!!"
Like, yeah, that stuff that we all pretty much agree is cool and good? That's what they're accusing Dems of doing? Bizarre.

Given that... yes, ins. co.s will still fight it tooth and nail, but this is a move that should give policy holders much better legal leverage to make the companies pay out.

Typically, with insurance, you are insured for events that occur during the policy period. So even if they drop you years later, they still have to pay for events that happened during the coverage period.

What kind of weird pseudo reverse ableism take is this? It sounds like you're implying that asking for help to reach the top shelf is some kind of bigotry? Is that it?
comment in response to

Who's problematizing what now? Asking people for help is fine. Turning it down is fine. Getting so mad at being asked for help that you post about it on the internet for pity and/or fake points is The Least Fine.

If everyone else is buying, then the line is going up. And you better buy in while it's going up so your line can go up, too.
Everything else is theatre.

It's gotta make more money than the Fed, right?
That's it. As long as the share price of a company increases faster than the interest rate of Federal Reserve bonds, investors will huck billions at it.
The company need not have real assets, real employees, and especially not a working product.

It is unique in how it produces nothing of value. A combine harvester obviates the need for the intense labor of hundreds of individuals, but it still helps produce food. Plagiarism machines produce nothing.

Here's the thought i had in my head ever since i learned GE made the A10's cannon: our tax dollars paid for that rotary cannon, right? What if, let's just say, instead of the government buying cannons from GE, it bought us all washing machines instead?

You're ignoring the massive discrepancies in the history of investment in cars vs. public transit. You're ignoring the thumb on the scale. Instead, you're nitpicking about the exact cost of owning a car because your arguments have nothing else to stand on.
