Please, no 51st state nonsense. It's not funny. Canada is a proud sovereign country, NATO member, Commonwealth member and provides the U.S. with some of our water, oil, gas, lumber & electricity at rates subsidized by us taxpayers.

This is an overlooked part of the Canada /U.S. relationship with regard to our resources, esp now that Trump thinks there is a giant faucet he can turn on...the U.S. already gets the water and the electricity generated from it. Yes, Canada gets a % of the profits but I think Trump wants it all.
