A lot of these GOP elected officials are themselves deep in the Fox News bubble, which leads them to assume Trump's policies will be wildly popular with their constituents. Seeing their shock at the actual response is very enjoyable.

How do we get Elon into one of them collapsible billionaire disposal subs?

More Americans say Trump is a dictator than say Zelensky is

Man.....

BREAKING: Elon and DOGE have fired all members of the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Getting on a flight this morning. Let's hope Chuck (America's last remaining air traffic controller) got a good night's sleep.

Riley Gaines lost to many, many women. But one of them was trans, so her victimhood has made her a celebrity on the right. Talk about DEI. Not since the Washington Generals has someone gotten so famous by being bad at their sport.

REVEALED: we identified the operator of an overtly racist X account, "GlomarResponder," as ICE Assistant Chief Counsel James Rodden, based on an overwhelming number of biographical details matched through publicly available documents, other social media activity, and courtroom observation.

This is the kind of leadership (from Jasmine Crockett) that is going to rise to the top of the Democratic Party, and it's about damn time.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING DEMS

My Congressman (Pat Ryan) who is normally very soft-spoken but did two tours in Iraq with the Army. Up against Elon Musk, my money is on the Army man.

First term was a Clownshow Second term is a Crime spree

"Immigrants have made America great. . . And notwithstanding the discrimination they’ve often faced, they’ve enriched the U.S. economically and culturally beyond all measure."

I posted a while back about the word "boycott" and its origin in Irish history (the collective ostracizing in 1880 of Charles Boycott, a landlord's agent in County Mayo) but here's the part we should learn from now: This wasn't just about business. It was collective action against an individual.

This is my greatest concern right now: Less Trump than the petty tyrannies of people who feel empowered by Trump. It's on all of us to mind our communities and use the tools we have to protect the vulnerable.

STEP ONE: Intentionally misgender MAGA folks in conversation STEP TWO: Wait for them to correct you STEP THREE: Tell them the government forbids you from using their preferred pronouns.

Quite an exchange here between Judge Reyes and DOJ attorney on how "pronoun usage" affects military readiness.

Folks, listen... you want to have suspicions, that's your right. But spinning out complex conspiracy theories on the basis of a few phrases from a very young child is Q-Anon level delusion. We have to be better.

True story: a few years ago, I was being interviewed by a reporter for the New York Times. I mentioned the history of eviction statutes and how they tied into Jim Crow. The reporter asked "what's Jim Crow?" When I explained, the reporter didn't believe me and said the US wouldn't do that.

I cannot emphasize enough that you should be attending your local Democratic Committee meetings. Your town, city, borough, or neighborhood probably has one. These are often your best way to use your voice to shape policy within the Democratic Party *and* network with locals who share your values.

Tesla stock is down almost 17% from its high in December. Seems like there's a pretty solid opportunity for shareholders to sue Elon Musk, who as CEO has a legal obligation to prioritize what is good for the company.
