I found that 2x reading glasses helped a lot when I realised that actually I couldn't see most of the detail on my true 15mm figures.

Thanks, I know that the consistency is a bit different, I'm just after the closest colour match. Alas none of my local shops stock the full range to do a side by side check.

Don't suppose you have a pot of GW Stirland Battle Mud/Mire handy to compare for a colour match? Long time fan and user of Stirland, but it is ridiculously expensive for what it is, be good if there was a cheaper substitute in the Vallejo range

Thanks Furball, 'twas I who posted the WM link up on Twitter, the Wiki in particular shows that it is all there but it has lots of holes. Fingers crossed that the web hosts still have the complete data (long story)

Unfortunately there are big holes in what is archived on the Wayback Machine. There are a few of us (but mostly Tim who was admin of the wiki) who have been trying to reclaim/restore/salvage the site. Wheels are in motion, it will return (eventually), progress is being made.

Afraid not. It is possible to rebuild the site in a slightly new guise, but it will take some time. It will return. Eventually.
