Okay, first - I agree, the argument is dumb.
BUT ALSO - I find it funny to take these seriously, so there's two options. 1 - Speed, which means the carts are going UNFATHOMABLY fast, which is, objectively, hilarious. 2 - Endurance, which would mean Sonic would be doing these races, like, 8 in a row.
