In related news Trump bans all university math departments from researching homomorphisms, especially group homomorphisms because that is particularly disgusting.

One of my Facebook randonneuring buddies created a challenge several years ago -- The Rides of March. The general idea is simple: Ride at least an hour a day during March. The rules are slightly more complex, but that's the general idea. Day 1: ridewithgps.com/trips/257326... #RidesOfMarch

Just in time for this weekend's 120K Dart Populaire team ride. When Cliff Mass writes about the incoming pineapple expresses (yes, multiple) you just know we're in for a wild ride (literally). cliffmass.blogspot.com/2025/02/heav... #ThatsRando

Tomorrow’s @searandonneurs.bsky.social 133K Winter Rouleur ride is going to be a bit frosty at the start. #ThatsRando

Me, departing a control at Wynoochee Lake on SIR's 2022 "Thrice Cursed" 1000K. Smoke from nearby wildfires moved in later that day. I rolled into the overnight control with burning eyes, a raw throat, and nonstop coughing. I called it quits. Photo by Jan Acuff (not on Bluesky. Yet.)

I had a wonderful 100K ride with @searandonneurs.bsky.social yesterday. ~90K was on gravel, so it was a wet, muddy, messy ride, but still great fun. No speed records were set, no PRs were threatened. The 2025 randonneuring season is officially open! www.strava.com/activities/1...

Born on this day, January 9, 1944: Jimmy Page, legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist, here showing off his antique cargo trike. Happy #bicyclebirthday, Jimmy!

A tradition continues: ~62 miles on my 61st birthday. Four friends and I rode a sloppy mixed gravel/asphalt 100K along the Snoqualmie Valley. #ThatsRando www.strava.com/activities/1...

As a pet owner, few things are as heartbreaking as bringing an empty carrier home from the vet. Rest in Purrs, sweet baby girl

Randonneurs USA (RUSA) has an award called the R-12. To earn this one must complete at least one ride of at least 200K each month for 12 consecutive months. It's a great challenge and provides some much-needed motivation to get out and ride during our gloomy winter months.

~75% indoors, ~25% outdoors. I hope to skew the ratio more toward “outdoors” this year.

@labeler.bike.community Thanks for creating this! I'm still a BlueSky noob -- I had no idea "labelers" were a thing. Cool idea. My primary label: Randonneur Thanks again!
