He will be aided by Dick Cheney, a man renown for his prowess in hunting birds.

The Sand Sea Ruins are one of my favorite places in Avowed. Not enough games have trap-filled dungeons with wonderfully comedic environmental storytelling.

I was thinking about this song today. One of my favorite anime openings. Just a great way to get pumped for whatever you got going on.

My only complaint about Avowed so far is that the doors are all absolutely massive. Did they build all of these doors to accommodate Ogres or something? It's a minor nitpick, it's just a thing that feels weird every time I notice.

I have this weird morality in Avowed. I got no issues robbing houses, but I won't touch the offerings on shrines. There's no gameplay effect for doing it, but it just strikes me as wrong.

All this genAI shit has given me some real perspective on why characters in fantasy settings hate necromancy with a passion.

Sometimes I cook food and it's too good to not overeat. I'm filled with food and regret. Today it was a chipotle braised beef and carrots. I enjoyed it over some rice.

I was like "Man, he really reminds me of Carl Winslow"... then he's called "Principle Winslow"... it's not actually a coincidence, the VA is Reginald VelJohnson.

I just met Tycg and already I'm convinced that he and Kai were dating at some point. They bicker like a cute couple.

Canada has reached the "freedom fries" stage of politics. (Y'all are gonna cringe so much about this in the future)

As I read through the newer X-Men comics I keep feeling like it's a copy of the 2013 run of Uncanny X-Men. Xavier and Jean are gone Magneto and Cyclops are a team Some mutants have problems controlling their powers An MGH side-story All it's missing is Evil Beast and time travel shenanigans.

Absolutely top-tier meta scene about the animation for Invincible

Hey #gamedev folk! I need to borrow 10 seconds of your time. Most players leave my new game sooner than that, so give this WIP version a look and let me know if you can think of any way to make them stay a tiny bit longer. Thanks 🧡 poki.com/en/preview/b... #indiedev

If I were making an immersive-sim I would make a "wet socks" debuff. You gotta make some real choices, not just wade through a river for a few coins. Oh, that shiny thing over there? It's interesting, but is it worth getting your socks wet?

Every time in Avowed: NPC: *says the word "Paradis"* Me: Paradis nuts! I cannot help myself.

I'm still pretty early in Avowed, but I really like it. It's not an immersive-sim like the Elder Scrolls games, but it is a fun world to explore. I REALLY appreciate the amount of color. It's a fantasy setting that actually feels "fantastic".

LETS FUCKING GO! I love me some Monster Train.

Azure Dreams was a fantastic game. It was basically a Pokemon roguelike. You collected and raised monsters, did some mystery dungeon diving, built up a town, and it had dating-sim elements. What a wild mishmash of ideas it was.

I saw the stuff for the Marvel Rivals 1.5 update and it's good to see that Rocket Raccoon comes out on top. He was underestimated before, now people might actually notice how good he actually is.

I'm very much looking forward to The Thing. Looks like he'll be fun to play. He seems like the first proper tank, like he'll push the line and disrupt enemies rather than just trying to block or dive.

Get the hell out of here with that "trending" nonsense... I do not want that. Thankfully, we can hide it. I DO NOT want to know what the current brainrot discourse is. Not now, not ever.

It never stops being funny that this guy looks like an adult version of Bobby Hill.

Nehan & Jack Joe feel like they could have been main characters. They look cool as hell in the latest chapter.

It took me way too long to realize why Gomah's costume looked so familiar to me. It's not the same as Jiren's, but it's a very similar look.

More games should do descendant mechanics like Rogue Legacy and Romancing SaGa 2. It'd certainly be an interesting approach to resurrection in a Soulslike.

Is it weird that I'm a software engineer and I hate that software and computer chips are crammed into everything? Like, give me a small "dumb" electric car.

I don't really like Wolverine, but I figure whomever murdered me will like him a whole lot less.

Finally got around to watching the new Venom movie. It's bad. The problem is that it tries too hard to be funny/quirky instead of just letting it happen. It's like it's trying to imitate the Marvel movies instead of sticking to what worked for Venom. Also, the symbiote talks too much.

The Apothecary Diaries anime fricking WHIPS. Such a thoughtful and intentional character piece! Such good pacing!! It does more in a half hour than entire prestige shows do in a full season.
