And some of us will buy games on sale and put them in our backlog to play later (never)

Every now and again they like to remind me why I stopped listening to/reading NPR.

Feels like people should be googling LASD gangs

This has been my argument, but people keep telling me it does. Like, P4 Golden is still very playable. Anyone wanting to play it already can.

Kinda reminds me of the "RPG elements" complaints

He's definitely dumb regardless of his politics... but also, wtf is he even talking about?

Feels like it's been coming for a while now. It'll likely be a satisfying end too.

"it's a dick-stepping game" is an all-time line

Oh, for real? That'd be sick

That's true. There's not enough meat on the genre to even fight over. They probably lost the source for FFT. It's the only explanation for why they haven't brought it back.
comment in response to post
The only people allowed to pick fights with FFT fans are Tactics Ogre fans... which means it's just me and I'm too old to be picking fights... even if Tactics Ogre is the better game.

Handyman Saitou in Another World Hajime no Ippo

It's absolutely baffling to me that more of Ippo hasn't been animated

I'll still defend Anthem as being one of the best games mechanically. It's core loop sucked ass, but the actual movement and combat mechanics were top notch. Real shame they shelved it and never repurposed it.

It really does seem like the springboard for something bigger

Buying a quadcopter gonna have the FBI checking in. Mil-tech probably scrambling to build something that resembles a solution for easy money.

It feels like a bit of a language problem. It just reads like a drone strike, the same as we've seen for the past decade or so. Instead it's like cheap-ass quadcopters and the this will likely have ramifications similar to the Oklahoma City bombing.

If this isn't what they wanted, do they plan to stop supporting the people enacting these policies? Are they out there protesting? Are they doing anything more than hand wringing? I will not believe these claims if they aren't trying to atone.

I have a firm belief in atonement (thanks anime). So, hollow apologies are regularly one of my biggest peeves, because people have gotten used to apologizing without atoning. They don't regret their actions, they regret the consequences. It drives me insane.

One of the last conversations I had on Facebook (and the reason I left) was about immigration. These people have an absolutely incorrect view of immigration and it is by choice. They might be fed lies, but they choose to consume them.

I might be willing to accept that this isn't what they voted for if they were actively doing anything about it. They'll do some hand wringing and continue to support the politicians that are enacting these policies.
