You know what search engine is great? Your local library!

Had me worried that time had collapsed in on itself. Which is possible when exalts get involved... just can't go backwards.

not to nitpick... but don't you mean 20 years?

Some also offer things like digital language learning services like Mango (yanno, since that owl decided to switch to AI instead of paying people). Heck, my library offers access to yard work tools if that’s your jam!

Check if your local library offers access to Mango Languages.

I remember these. Always loved how the kids in Flunked the Planet looked like they were both about to throw hands with the alien.

I'm lying, but I have to remind people that this film exists. I'm sorry for being such a monster. This movie sucks.

I just learned don't take my stories about space wizards too seriously and it's fine.

I just finished that and it was wonderful. Convinced our teen librarian to get a copy for the teen graphic novel section after showing her! Your work is great!

As a librarian, why not both? You can usually do both at most libraries!

The legend of Zelda Link's Awakening. Beaten that more than any other game.

I posit All-Star Superman will probably have a more profound impact on a lot of kids lives these days than Catcher in the Rye.

If you enjoyed it I also suggest if you haven't already, Chrono Trigger. The best version is the DS version but SNES is great as well and the ipad port is not bad at all either.

Real talk, know what got me into reading? And parents give me such a stink eye when I tell them it was Final Fantasy Six. I mean how dare a librarian suggest there is literary merit in an epic fantasy where YOU are the character? I mean there is also train suplexing... But that's just a bonus.

As a current librarian, hard agree. Hell my personal tastes don't really include any classics save for maybe Dune. I'd rather get a kid into reading through something they enjoy than something they will despise and associate with reading.
