Final tally for St. John's east: 26.4cm, with a water equivalent of 17.5mm. This particular system brought "fluffy and light" snow as opposed to the heavy wet stuff we are used to. #nlwx

St. John's Airport #YYT reporting 3cm of snow as of 9:30am. The southern Avalon is likely seeing ice pellets. Precipitation will switch over to ice pellets or freezing rain late this morning and eventually over to drizzle for Metro. Areas west of the Avalon are seeing snow. #NLwx
