Someone was doing that once and got rear-ended, and the car jumped forward and hit Child 2 (who was walking her bike across the road). She was unhurt, but the driver got the top layer of face skin peeled off by my screaming at her.

Agreed. Despite their reputations as the more "mainstream" award, I always thought their taste was pretty well on point, and their inclusion of Quebecois books & creators put the DWAs to shame.

It's just the pin and a mm or two of plastic over a hollow calf. Someone used to 3D print a piece just to add a little friction to it, but he's disappeared. Alas!
