I'm sorry that the concept of a rhetorical device for emphasis is a struggle, but here you go: www.politico.com/2024-electio... www.politico.com/2024-electio... The blue bits in NE KS and NW MO are the KC area.

Good lord, a lick of common sense under this comment. Finally.

How is it BS to point out that the Kansas City area, in both states, did not vote the way the state as a whole did, when discussing a story about the KC area specifically, in response to a "got what they deserved for their vote" accusation? I truly do not understand what is confusing about this.

If you have nothing to say about a guy talking about what voters deserve for the way they voted despite not taking 5 seconds to verify that they did, in fact, vote a certain way, I'll assume you're acting in bad faith and bow out. Have a good day.

I know how people in the Kansas City area voted, which is why I made the comment suggesting the guy look at a results map in the first place. Why would I point him to a map if I didn't already know what he'd find? The "KS/MO voters deserve this" ignores that KC specifically didn't vote that way.

Yes, the blue bit up in the corner is the Kansas City area.

The original story is about the Kansas City area. How did the Kansas City area, in both states, vote?

You might look at a results map of both Kansas and Missouri to see how people voted where.

At this point I think it's just about that lady's glasses.
