No no, too many guns. But let them be independent and we can forge a friendly relationship both can benefit from.

Our Collie used to go blackberry picking with my husband. She would follow along beside him while he filled his bucket and she would pick and eat. A long snout helped her get the biggest while avoiding the prickles. I wished I had recorded them while they were alive, it was fun to watch her.

I have discovered whole unhomogenized milk. It is pasteurized but not homogenized so still has cream that floats to the top and can be mixed in or skimmed off. Minimum 3.25%. Causes me way less gas and is good for custards, flans, junkets and my tea.

67 studies involving over 1 million women but he will only believe 1 random control study would. A common reasons RC study is closed or ended - "cure/treatment/preventive"being studied is so effective it is unethical to withhold it from those receiving a placebo.

I agree corporations are taking advantage raising prices. Not just large corps & not just US. In Canada have noticed price increases on many items not made or grown in US or if they are US in category with little or no Canadian import tariff so why the price increase.

I grew up where you often saw ladies of Italian families out picking dandelion greens for dinner. Also ask any child who delights in a field of yellow dandelion flowers if they are weeds. Many a teacher was given a bouquet of yellow flowers.

What happened to MSNBC tonight? My cable company did not carry any of the scheduled programs. No Lawrence O'Donnell, nothing but some historical boxing match.

And Maga keeps bleating about freedom while trumpet keeps piling on more and more restrictions

Nope. My mild claustrophobia just became major. And what happens to those of us who can't stand for long periods even with this sort of support? My flying days will be over.

That is the grossest way of cooking anything I have ever seen, also the laziest. Couldn't possibly taste descent, let alone good. Not to mention a total clash of warring taste in slices and cheese.

Maybe California should go it alone and form an European style union with Canada. Take Washington state and Alaska with you.

Love the word play on her name. We do that around here too. Fatty Matty, Racy Gracey, Farty Marty (you can guess why) and Sadie the Shady Lady.

Is this laser thingy permanent? I am not normally one for graffiti or property damage so I will think of this as "redecorating", hope it discourages putting up more, not a good look

Should also say subsequent relationships have given me step children and associated grandchildren, all of whom I love very much.

I don't live in US but I am now in 70s & at 24 had debilitating pain & dismenoria. Many hoops jumped including permission of husband at time, had hysterectomy at 24. Yes at times wish I could have had kids but never regretted not having a pain filled life.

Read Atlas shrugged as a teen, liked it at the time for the love triangle, the strong woman and thought they were fighting back against corruption. Missed the selfish me first, me only & to hell with anyone not rich, smart and able. The other 2 books read & forgotten immediately.

Not only ridiculous looking they appear to be driving oddly. There is a word for it I can't think of right now but it is where the rear axle(s) are different lengths and the rear of the car looks like it is not tracking straight.

When it is the customer at the grocery checkout in front of you and not paying any attention to the cashier, I just want to push them aside and say something like "playing through" since you aren't interested.

I am mostly avoiding products & produce from the US but will occasionally buy California produce still. I always bought Driscoll strawberries, first out this time of year before BC ones. I am so saddened by what is happening.

The cruel is sending them to a nasty prison in another country. Why not send them to their own country with a don't come back? Of course the answer is money. From those hired to "grab them", those paid to house them, to those they are "trafficked" to.

Canadian here, must have missed this bit of US history. As a musician I instantly went: so is the "John Brown" "who's body lies a-moldering in the grave" and "his soul goes marching on"? Cleared a mystery for me to know the story behind the song.

Is there a Maga back lash? I have heard, seen, read nothing yet except conjecture from the left. Maga and trump seem oddly quiet or I
Have I just not gone to the right places yet?

My first thought was dismay, why an American at this time? My second thought was to wonder if the papacy was bought by billionaires and my third thought was if trump shows he is happy - then I have a bad feeling about this! My last thought, wait and see, it won't be long before it becomes clear.

My great grandfather would visit us every couple of weeks. He was amazing. He would tell stories, sing to us, made me feel special. I can still hear his Scottish burr & smell his pipe tobacco. He died when I was about 16 so my memories very vivid.

It was a preemptive strike to shut down our conservatives. He was smart, get it over with and show everyone exactly how useless dealing Trump is. Now he can turn his attention to doing what he can to mitigate the effects of Trumps tariffs and be strategic in countermeasures.

Growing up in Southern Ontario fruit belt a lot of kids, especially those from lower income families, worked during the summer, usually either in hospitality or as pickers. We would pick whatever was ready and move onto the next field, next farmer etc. I worked every summer from age 14 on.

I was in the shower when I heard a boom, I raced upstairs wrapped in a towel just in time to see the living room picture window bow inwards from the soundwave. And I lived just north of Victoria B.C. I knew immediately what it was. I had been following the news for days before.

Need to start playing & singing banned songs again. I 've been singing Eileen McGann's "Too Stupid for Democracy", it is on You Tube. It was banned in the US back in the day and if anything is even more on point today.

I have always found libs far more respectful of opposition than Cons. In the face of their gains on VI con supporters have been very angry and nasty to lib voters on local social media because they didn't win all here or Nationally. I have been very shocked at how nasty.

Interesting on the island there was much conservative noise, a bit nasty but not much before election. Now its over - local FB groups full of nasty anger & vindictiveness from Cons. They are so angry they didn't take all, they don't care about representing local people.

Another reason missed: avoidance, girls and women are better at avoidance and are often seen as just shy or introverted which is more acceptable in girls & women than men.

I am often teased by friends for forgetting to put in my hearing aids. I live alone and my dog has a very loud bark so I don't notice my hearing loss when I get up, not until my first human conversation.

I also just had my vehicle serviced, need to make it last. I am actually trying to empty my freezer & not buy meat. Stocking up more on canned & dried goods. A tip from childhood with Italian mama's, dandelion greens make good salad, grow fast & can be found in vacant lots.

First, what separates humans from animals? Empathy rates high in those who are truly human. I know people who rate low on empathy & consciousness. This man has 0 empathy, 0 sense of right & wrong and no conscious. Totally unable to put himself in others.

There are still a good # of older printers out there that will work with your older computer. You find them in thrift stores, FB marketplace, e-bay. Just get a kit & clean refill your own ink cartridges.
