As being “free to make our own trade deals” has delivered the square root of jack shit and, as Brexiters still can’t tell us what EU regulations they want to scrap, closer alignment with the EU should be a no-brainer. Great work @bestforbritain.bsky.social www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

I believe in freedom of expression. That's why I'm going to algorithmically control what you see. And use my money to amplify myself and my friends and buy influence. And sue you when you say something I don't like. All for freedom.

Fact-checking wasn’t “biased” against conservatives. Conservatives just shared more false content. If there’s a sportsball game and one team fouls four times as much, it’s not “biased” for the ref to call four times as many fouls against that team.

The Times has now corrected yet another of Matthew Parris's falsehoods (and there's another correction in the works). But as usual Parris will continue to write his abjectly bad columns and the Times will continue to fail to factcheck them. archive.ph/4Q0oW

I dunno man, I feel like some of the obscenely wealthy people encouraged to move fast, ignore regulations and break things and told they are geniuses who owe nothing to society because their success is entirely their own achievement... might have found their way to right wing politics on their own.
