It’s crazy how well The Monkey works as a comedy as well as a horror film. This film plays out like a collection of Looney Tunes shorts and still manages to sell its more dramatic moments. Loved the mixing of time periods through wardrobe and production design, despite the present day setting.

#CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld suffers from serving more as a follow up to 2008’s #TheIncredibleHulk than #TheFalconandtheWinterSolider, while still being a serviceable outing for Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America. It’s perfectly watchable, but that’s about it.

Yeah, it probably would have been nice if they didn’t release that second trailer for #Companion, but there were still plenty of fun surprises, and I enjoyed it overall. Sophia Thatcher was damn near brilliant, and between this, #Heretic and #Yellowjackets, she is one to watch! (4 out of 5)
