If you're in Britain and you use 'DEI' rather than 'EDI', my gut instinct is to ignore everything you say about it because all it tells me is that you spend too much time absorbed in the US 'woke debate' and are very likely on the wrong side of history.

I personally love Labour's memes

We are overwhelmed and so grateful for all the love shown to Arthur today for his naming ceremony ❀️ A huge thank you to those who came to his ceremony and celebrated with us today. Arthur is so lucky to have you all in his life, as are we. @yewisloung.bsky.social

awake at 4:30am because the baby needed some cuddles. The fur baby, to be precise. Meanwhile, Arthur has been sleeping for 6 hours uninterrupted πŸ₯Ή

I read the headline to my husband and he laughed out loud. My husband has 6 months paternity leave. We are sharing the exhaustion and the joy. Him having 6 months off saved my mental health and the bond between him and Arthur is incredible ❀️ www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/05...

how can you enthusiastically run as a Labour candidate a couple of weeks ago and now defect? Opportunism just to win, and it stinks.

Don't really understand why Keir is trying so hard to appease reform voters by being awful on immigration, but then creates lots of headlines about getting into bed with the EU again which would piss off reform voters. What's the electoral strategy here?

I'm in that not-so-fun time where Arthur is still asleep but I know he's going to wake up screaming within the next 30 minutes and if I go back to sleep now I'd just wake up more tired than if I stay awake πŸ™ƒ

100% this. Fed up with vital policy, which should be explained to all citizens for their democratic engagement being turned into party political pap as if democracy is a gladiator circus.

the absolute RAGE created from trying to register online banking with Nationwide, having to call them up & failing the security questions TWICE. How am I failing my name (which has never changed), age (not something I'm going to get wrong), & my address (which is the same one they write to me at!)?

Drinking milk and coke close to eachother would cause rats to grow in your belly.

A hateful thing to say. People whose approach to life is not faith-based have done enormous good, majority non-religious societies have been some of the strongest proponents of human dignity and solidarity. Why is the BBC just printed this unchallenged? If it's "news", it should be balanced.

I like 'Blair' as in Blair Waldorf from 'Gossip Girl' but you simply CANNOT be a Labour Party activist and call your child Blair. You just can't. Doesn't matter if it's because you like it from something else. It's a massive no.

You don't know the plan, it goes to a different school.

I feel like we should impose a new rule whereby you can't post any political hot take about election results until 24 hours after the result has been announced. The rush to get out thoughts creates 1) knee jerk and 2) low quality analysis.

Well quite.

Oh god this is going to be the next defense of the lazy landlord. They'll say they're charging such low rents that they can't afford the petrol to go to the tip πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί

Tough on fly tippers, tough on the cars of fly tippers.

There's so much I could complain about RE being pregnant and having a baby, but the hospital baby feeding consultant was actually brilliant. After giving me all the advice and tips and technique, she said something along the lines of "but if it's not enjoyable, don't do it. Fed is best".

I thought I'd be fancy and add dill to a batch of homemade potato salad and it turns out that....I don't like dill.

someone needs to stop me from buying this church for Β£250k www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/1...
