Canadian. Atheist. Semi-retired in White Rock; jack of all trades, master of some! Social Democrat (as opposed to Democratic Socialist). Spend a bit of time in Scotland though I’m of Irish ancestry. I’ve owned a ‘73 MGB Roadster for 50 years. Not insane!

Let me reiterate….Canada wins…beats the USA 3-2 in OT. At least for now, hockey is still our game!!

Well now. Canada wins the final. McDavid finishes the USA team off in OT 3-2 YAAAAYYYY!!!!!!

Going from bad to worse, consider that the situation is getting more wretched for those compromised by war, poverty, and famine. Thoughts & prayers aren’t enough. Now that Trump has lied his way into the hearts and coffers of Americans, the rest of the world must step up. Perhaps a blessing! Or not!

I finally let my brother drive😎

So Trump is having a bad day over not getting Boeing to finish his personal presidential airliners fast enough? Maybe Russia’s Yakovlev would be more to his taste. I’m sure they could get them built faster and with that good old Rusky quality to boot! Kind of reminiscent of LADA automobiles!😂🤞

Watching today’s Deadline WH now. NWs home invasion analogy is great. As per usual I suppose! Her conversation with her guests is eye opening and we should all listen to their collective wisdom.

Since WWII, the USA has been an active participant in the spread of modern global democracy. Yes, there’s been an occasional ‘burp’ along the way. But…Nothing is perfect and nothing lasts forever! However, the West has hitched itself to your wagon for good reason. Don’t let it down! Stop Trump Now!

Oh, excuse me, Mr Drumph! “He who saves his Country does not violate any Law.”? Really? What’s with this guy? Perhaps he should look up the meaning of hubris! Perhaps even irony? He just may be open to scrutiny on that bilge! He’s not smart enough to be Napoleon.

In 1968, the Bee Gees (yes the Bee Gees) had a great tune “I Started a Joke”… Perhaps an apt anthem for Trump? Musk? Just askin’!

I had measles when I was six, prior to a vaccine being developed. I was delirious for days with a terribly high temperature and was quarantined from my siblings. Not a pleasant experience. Had there been a vaccine I would have received it as my parents weren’t ignorant of the dangers of viruses.

Not allowing for justice in an end to Putin’s bullshit war against Ukraine will sound the death knell of the free Ukrainian state and its people. Justice would be complete reparations made by Russia to Ukraine and Ukraine’s quick membership in NATO.

My father, who passed away in 2005 at the age of 92, was a WWII veteran and a career officer until 1968 in the Canadian Army. He was adamant that the world should not trust the Russians. I’m certain he meant their leaders in general, but he watched Vladimir Putin with great concern!

Apparently gas in USA is averaging around US$3.21 per US gallon of regular. Well now, here in the Vancouver BC area we’re up to CAN$1.95/litre. With exchange and differing liquid measurements, that’s equivalent to US$5.16 per US gallon. That’s with up to date exchange rates and proper measurements

George Harrison got it right with the song “Beware of Darkness”…esp. this verse: Watch out now, take care Beware of greedy leaders They take you where you Should not go. While weeping Atlas Cedars They just wan to grow, grow and grow Beware of Darkness! All Things Must Pass G. Harrison, 1970
