The way male journalists write about the targeted harassment and abuse of women online is so deeply fucked. Every single time I'm targeted some man writes an article that boils down to "wow she must be loving this attention!". No actually, bc being the target of a harassment & smear campaign sucks

Please do this (though I know I've done it before and it looks like mine got reset, so I just had to check it again). It's not that hard and it really helps out. Also, with things like Google Lens, it's easier than ever to do alt text. Or just write it out.
