Instagram does this via some automated no-person-in-the-loop process. Mine was randomly zapped for no reason a while back, in such a way that the account was permanently terminated. As a media figure, Owen may have more chance of his being reinstated by making some noise, we shall see.

Remember: Cass is not peer-reviewed - and is therefore not “gold”, silver, bronze or even recycled plastic standard. IMO it’s just pseudoscience. There are now at least five damming, peer-reviewed critiques of Cass; all automatically of a higher standard, with at least two more in peer-review.

What struck me reading the Cass review, is that its starting assumption was trans existence as an aberration to be corrected, which explains why the review did not involve trans people themselves. It effectively assumed its conclusion. Hence the current trans-hostile nature of the NHS in practice.
